Play fair
Rules & conduct
These rules apply to every BlueBridge Esports tournament. Individual events may add game-specific rules, which are published on the tournament page.
Eligibility
- Players must be 13 or older. Players under 18 need parent or guardian consent to compete for cash prizes.
- One account and one entry per person per tournament. Duplicate entries are removed without refund.
- Gamertags must match the platform account used to play. Account sharing is prohibited.
Check-in & scheduling
- Check in on Discord within the window announced for your bracket. No check-in means a forfeit.
- Match windows are published with seeding. Both players are responsible for making contact.
- A player more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled match forfeits that match.
Match play & reporting
- Default settings are published per tournament. Unapproved setting changes void the result.
- The winner reports the score in Discord immediately; the loser confirms.
- Screenshots of the final score are required. Keep them until the tournament is complete.
- Disconnects before the first score count are replayed. After that, the score stands unless staff rule otherwise.
Disputes
- Disputes must be filed within 30 minutes of the match with evidence.
- Tournament staff review evidence and issue a final ruling. Staff decisions are final.
Code of conduct
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse — in game, in Discord, or on stream.
- No cheating, modded hardware, exploits, smurfing, or match fixing.
- Violations can result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and a permanent ban.
Prizes & refunds
- Prize amounts are published before registration opens and are paid after results are certified.
- Entry fees are refundable up to 48 hours before the tournament start time.
- If BlueBridge cancels a tournament, every paid entry is refunded in full.
- Prize winners are responsible for their own taxes on winnings.
